Troubleshooting The Breach: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses


    The Breach: A VR Escape Game down?   The Breach not working  


Common fixes:

  1. Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
  2. Update The Breach game Licenses (PS Only).
  3. Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run The Breach again.
  4. Install Missing Multiplayer packages.

How to Fix The Breach Game Server Connection Problems:


  1. Reset Winsock:
    • Press » Search bar » and type CMD. Now, Right-click Command Prompt when it comes up as a result and select Run as administrator.
      In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
      Now, Restart your computer and Launch The Breach and check if the issue persists.

  3. Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).

The Breach is a Virtual Reality Escape Game in which you will explore two different rooms to figure out how to repair a leaking antimatter reactor. This adventure is specifically designed for VR and focuses on the immersion of the player, without needing any prior VR experience. Once you pass the tutorial explaining you the situation in more depth, you will quickly feel transported in a whole new world. The game has been thoroughly tested by multiple people of various profiles, from complete beginners to veterans of VR and Escape Rooms. None had major issues with the feeling or the difficulty of the game.
