Reset Winsock:

  In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
  Now, Restart your computer and Launch Ni no Kuni and check if the issue persists.
Close all other Internet connected apps.
Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).
