ABOUT THE GAME
About This Game Pig & Chikin is a 3D platformer where the core movement abilities get weaker as a metaphor for physical disability and aging. In a world where pigs have wings and can fly, Pig loses her wings in an accident and desperately wants them back. Her friend, Chikin, joins her on an adventure to learn how to fly again. Their journey brings them to magical places where they meet creatures who offer insights into themes of companionship, community, and acceptance of immovable change. Gameplay FeaturesFly, flap, and slide through a globe-trotting adventure Explore magical environments and meet charming characters Live out a heartfelt fable of companionship, acceptance, and the beauty of community About Development Pig & Chikin began as Quentin Burley’s MFA thesis project at USC. Personal experience inspired the story of an accident, an aging caregiver, and the emergence of a caregiving community, with several characters inspired by relatives. After its feature at USC Games Expo 2024, the game was completed and released as a passion project.
