The family never recovered financially after that loss. Friends and relatives were suspected, and bad luck was blamed. An innocent person was even wrongfully condemned. However, what truly captured your attention were the tragic events that unfolded in the nearby workers' village, nestled at the foot of the aristocratic estates, in the years following the theft—disappearances and other unsettling occurrences. Today, the village is nearly abandoned.You've been wandering the area for the last few days, searching house after house. The few remaining locals give you suspicious looks, but no one bothers you.
