This spell shoots out like a projectile, which requires aiming. Most other spells have a cooldown and instantly hit their targets or cause an AOE effect, but magical beam shoots out like a yoyo / boomerang, and requires real aim. The beam also "connects" with other beams in various situations, where both beams meet in the middle, creating a Spell Lock.
