Troubleshooting Urban Nightmare: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses


    Urban Nightmare down?   Urban Nightmare not working  


Common fixes:

  1. Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
  2. Update Urban Nightmare game Licenses (PS Only).
  3. Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run Urban Nightmare again.
  4. Install Missing Multiplayer packages.

How to Fix Urban Nightmare Game Server Connection Problems:


  1. Reset Winsock:
    • Press » Search bar » and type CMD. Now, Right-click Command Prompt when it comes up as a result and select Run as administrator.
      In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
      Now, Restart your computer and Launch Urban Nightmare and check if the issue persists.
  2. Close all other Internet connected apps.
  3. Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).

ABOUT THE GAME



This is an indie-student made found footage style game where you are a Free-Running, parkour expert who finds themselves lost in a city. Upon trying to find your way out, you notice that there is a looming threat that is lurking around every corner as you get closer to the exit. By using your knowledge of free running, you hope that you can escape from this urban nightmare. Play utilizing mouse and keyboard with the standard WASD to move, Control to Crouch/Slide, and Space to Jump You can use a controller but only for in game play and not for menu and sub-menu selection.
