Troubleshooting Shadow Lens: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses
Common fixes:
- Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
- Update Shadow Lens game Licenses (PS Only).
- Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run Shadow Lens again.

ABOUT THE GAME
Shadow Lens is a found-footage analog horror game set in the 90s. The game was never finished, its release in 2000 was due to developer negligence. I obtained the original code for the game and ported it to PC for you to play. There is a lot of unused content in the game files that still need to be restored. Along with the game I've found multiple tapes that recorded gameplay.
The game case reads:
"Monsters lurk in the dark. Use your camera to navigate unlit spaces. Find your missing daughter and discover what happened to her. Find tools to help unlock new areas to explore. Don't Die"
The player is thrust into the role of a nameless protagonist tasked with investigating the strange happenings on an old farm. Discover the mystery of what happened to your daughter Hantu. On the journey finding a plethora of tools and items to aid in the search for Hantu. For example, your upgradable polaroid camera can be used to aluminate dark spaces. But be careful because monsters often hide in these areas and are hard to see. To find Hantu, puzzles involving items must be solved. Most items can be interacted with, consumed, or picked up with your hand. Mastery of the tools and consumables is the key to finding Hantu. Hidden secrets from Cheat Codes to Unlockable areas litter the landscape. It is up to you to find them. Are you brave enough to look within the shadows and find Hantu?
