Troubleshooting Bad Cops: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses
Common fixes:
- Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
- Update Bad Cops game Licenses (PS Only).
- Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run Bad Cops again.
- Install Missing Multiplayer packages.
How to Fix Bad Cops Game Server Connection Problems:
- Reset Winsock:
- Press » Search bar » and type CMD. Now, Right-click Command Prompt when it comes up as a result and select Run as administrator.
In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
Now, Restart your computer and Launch Bad Cops and check if the issue persists.
- Close all other Internet connected apps.
- Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).

ABOUT THE GAME
Bad cops take on a variety of scenarios. Solo or Co-op mission assignments with your other players. Team-based competitive FPS mode. Save hostages, stop heists and get promoted to the become the Chief of Police. Or will your behaviour earn you a reputation as the infamous Bad Cop?
Upon completing each mission you will be judged on your performance. You can complete an assignment perfectly and earn "Good Cop" XP by using non-lethal arrest techniques on the criminals and by ensuring innocent bystanders are kept away from danger and unharmed. Likewise you can earn "Bad Cop" XP by completing assignments in a less-than perfect fashion (for example for unnecessary killing of criminals, harming innocent people or causing unwarranted property damage).
Before each mission begins you will be given a briefing. These briefings will contain some of the information you need to plan your raid. However, some scenarios will lack crucial information due to their nature that they are happening fast and the information simply is not known at the time of the distress call. You will have to use your own initiative and police training to conduct the operation in a professional manner.
The Good Cop/Bad Cop XP system will effect the future assignments you receive.
