本作为视觉小说+轻度Roguelike的结合。通过文字的叙述和在游戏中穿插的小游戏来展示出在2020年的时候我们的生活。玩家在游玩游戏的过程中可以根据自己内心的想法来决定故事的走向，最后走出不一样的回家的路。

在游戏中有数万字的文本故事来讲述整个事件的始末，同时有着很丰富的剧情选择，来体验很多种不同的生活。在游戏的其他方面，包含有轻量化的Roguelike元素，让每个人的归家之路都变得不同。快来加入进这场冒险当中吧！

疫情很可能是改变了无数人生命轨迹的事情，尤其对我们留学生群体也是如此。而在不同的地方，当地的人们对待疫情的态度也是不一样的。本作将从我们自己的视角出发，来描绘在我们记忆中的2020年，来描绘我们当时回家的路。

从一开始的担心国内亲朋好友的安危，到后来的国内亲朋好友关心我们的安危，这期间我们确实经历了很多，在这里，我们希望将这些故事分享给你们，以此来纪念无论在哪都过得十分不容易的2020年。

本作从GameHack 2021 “最佳主题作品”奖项获得者“归家疫途 GoingHome”改编而来，再次感谢在GameJam中的队友们。
