Troubleshooting Zombie Within: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses
Common fixes:
- Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
- Update Zombie Within game Licenses (PS Only).
- Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run Zombie Within again.
- Install Missing Multiplayer packages.
How to Fix Zombie Within Game Server Connection Problems:
- Reset Winsock:
- Press » Search bar » and type CMD. Now, Right-click Command Prompt when it comes up as a result and select Run as administrator.
In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
Now, Restart your computer and Launch Zombie Within and check if the issue persists.
- Close all other Internet connected apps.
- Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).

Once enough infection has spread, an Imposter can transform into a monstrous zombie form, which allows them to attack civilians directly.Protect the camp as a Defender: Defenders can take on the roles of Hunters or Engineers. Hunters take down zombie imposters easily and can lay down traps to expose them. Meanwhile, Engineers have tools that allow them to quickly find broken generators, and reveal the imposter amongst the civilians.Randomly Generated Maps: Play on either the default map, or test your skills in a randomly generated camp map, with different layouts and generator spawns.
