Troubleshooting Alienate: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses
Common fixes:
- Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
- Update Alienate game Licenses (PS Only).
- Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run Alienate again.
- Install Missing Multiplayer packages.
How to Fix Alienate Game Server Connection Problems:
- Reset Winsock:
- Press » Search bar » and type CMD. Now, Right-click Command Prompt when it comes up as a result and select Run as administrator.
In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
Now, Restart your computer and Launch Alienate and check if the issue persists.
- Close all other Internet connected apps.
- Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).

DLC Coming soonSince the game was divided into two episodes in order to solve a memory problem. The second episode does come with the initial game, in order to access it when you beat the first episode follow these steps.
As an extra note the optimal resolution for Alienate is 1440 x 900.
1.) Open your Steam library.
2.) Right click on Alienate, go to browse local files.
3.) Once there you'll see the second episode.
4.) Right click on Alienate episode 2 and click create shortcut.
5.) Send it to the Desktop and that's it, easy access to episode 2.
If that seems a little too hard or if it doesn't prove to be a possibility, it is going to be
released in the not too distant future as a free DLC item.
