Troubleshooting Grand Theft Auto: How to Fix Common Problems and Isuses


    Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas down?   Grand Theft Auto not working  


Common fixes:

  1. Clear the Cache of Your PC or Console
  2. Update Grand Theft Auto game Licenses (PS Only).
  3. Power cycling your console (PlayStation 4 & Xbox One): Turn off your console » unplug power-cable for 1min. » Plug power-cable back » restart console » Run Grand Theft Auto again.
  4. Install Missing Multiplayer packages.

How to Fix Grand Theft Auto Game Server Connection Problems:


  1. Reset Winsock:
    • Press » Search bar » and type CMD. Now, Right-click Command Prompt when it comes up as a result and select Run as administrator.
      In Command Prompt, type 'netsh winsock reset' and hit Enter (on your keyboard).
      Now, Restart your computer and Launch Grand Theft Auto and check if the issue persists.
  2. Close all other Internet connected apps.
  3. Restart your network (modem or wi-fi).

Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers. Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.
